Has anyone replaced the teak plywood trim under the frame for the doors leading into the V berth? If so what did you use and how did it turn out.

Nice job. Thanks I had read that earlier but obviously forgot. Mine is not that bad a bit more cosmetic in nature. Was the new piece under the bulkhead thicker than the original or was that a trim piece over the new lower portion of the original? Was the door trim removed for this job?
